Who is Michael
Michael Pagnotta is an actor who created P3 as an innovative approach to helping individuals and businesses in their presentation and business skills for maximum personal impact. Drawing on over 10 years experience in the arts as an actor and director, Michael has worked across the UK, Europe and Canada creating a parallel link between the world of theatre and the business world that forms a part of our everyday working life. Michael's work in children's drama was quickly recognized by The Old Vic Theatre in London where he project managed and delivered communication workshops for the theatre's education department. This led to many contacts in education- from primary schools to University Business Schools- and the development of ACTiv8 workshops for businesses and teaching professionals to build confidence and improve presentation practices. Having formed p3-presentations in 2007 after receiving media coverage in The Guardian, Michael soon found himself working as a trainer and personal coach for business in both the UK and Canada.
Michael's Work Ethic:
"My goal is to boost people's confidence so they can command a room by simply using the power of Voice and Body Language- to make an impact! That's where the ACTiv8 approach comes in. The aim is to introduce and use proven tools and techniques derived from acting and theatre to achieve this success. Rather than focusing on only the delivery of accurate facts and information, the workshop concentrates on theatre and acting exercises so you become aware of how to use your body and your voice to add dimension to the facts for the audience." Michael's work has been recognized by The Guardian which describes how "each exercise has a wider point: this workshop is intended to enable students to tap into their creativity, and Pagnotta has designed the exercises to help them use their bodies inventively, experiment with their voices and find novel ways of expressing familiar information."
